Visualizing aggregated data (in global logframe)

In LogAlto, it is possible to have a gobal logframe that allows you to create corporate indicators. When you add these corporate indicators into your project, the data across the different projects contributing to these indicators is aggregated. There are different ways to visualize this aggregated data:

1. Through the Aggregated results tab in the global logframe

Through the logframe module, access the Global logframe by selecting global in the menu at the top right corner.

Then click on the aggregated results tab

By clicking on the value for each period (In the example the 37 in the overall cumulative for 2020) you will be able to see the list of Projects with their respective values

2. Through the charts in each indicators

In the same screen as the example above (Aggregated results in the global logframe) you will also be able to visualize the contribution of each project by clicking on the chart icon next to the indicator. The first chart to appear will be the current value dissagregated by project.

2. Creating an analytics

If the pre-created charts do not show you the information you need or you prefer another visualization format, you have the possibility of creating an analytics.

These are the steps to follow in order to achieve your results:

  1. Go to analytics and create a chart based on the dataset "indicator dissagregated values"
  2. Select the type of display that you wish to see (in the example below- we've chosen a pivot table)
  3. Through the configuration of your analytics (the pencil and ruler icon in the top right corner) use the options available to parameter your chart with the information that you wish to see.

In the example below we have selected the following parameters:

  • Sum of Actual values
  • Rows: Project title
  • Columns: indicator name

Important

You need to add a filter on the "Logframe" and select the name of your Global logframe.
