Corporate indicators

Corporate indicators are managed via the global logframe. When you add an indicator to your global logframe, you have the possibility of making it a corporate indicator.

When an indicator is corporate, data entered at the project level will be aggregated to the global logframe, enabling a comprehensive overview of achievements across projects. Additionally, you can establish an overarching organizational target for each corporate indicator.

When a Goal/Indicator is marked as Corporate & Mandatory, then it will be automatically added to all logframes created within that Organizational unit and projects will not be able to remove them. 

If a Goal/Indicator is marked as Corporate & Optional, then projects will have the choice to add the specific goals/indicators that apply to them at the project level. 

Identify the source of global indicators

In a project, you can hover over the globe icon to display its direct corporate source, including:

• The organizational unit.
• The objective or indicator code, when codes are enabled.
• The objective or indicator name.

This information is available in:

• Logframe design.
• Indicator data entry.
• Target control.

It makes it easier to understand where an inherited objective or indicator comes from, especially when an organization uses several global logframes or renames its corporate project indicators.

Identify project indicators in Target control

In a global logframe, open Target control, then click on the pencil next to one global indicator.

This will open the Projects implementing the indicator window. The Indicator column shows the specific project indicator contributing to the global indicator. Select the indicator name to open it directly in the project logframe.

This is particularly useful when the same project contributes through more than one indicator, since each contribution is shown on a separate row.
