Share form to mobile
Sharing forms to mobile application
When sharing a form, you provide access to the form for other users. You also have the option of allowing or revoking access to the form via the mobile application.
If the user has access to the form through different channels (profiles, projects, units, or directly), and if any of them provides mobile access, it will be available on the mobile application.
If the access rights provided are set to Guest, the form cannot be accessed via the mobile application since the user(s) may not add records.
Linked forms
In the case of forms linked to others, they will be loaded on the mobile application if a user has access to one, even if the mobile share was not checked. This is necessary to allow users to create a record in a sub-form. By default, these forms are hidden from the application's list of forms.
Hint: A user does not need to perform the following steps to allow the creation of records in sub-forms. We provide the following steps in case a user wants to create a record in a sub-form directly.
To make them visible the user needs to:
- Open the options panel by clicking on the 'burger' button on the top left corner.
- Click on Settings
- Check the box to "Show hidden forms"
These sub-forms will now be visible in the application.
