Create a project logframe
There is a separate article on how to create a global logframe.
Logframe also referred to as logical framework, results framework or strategic framework. Whatever the name used, this tool describes both a general approach to project or programme planning, monitoring and evaluation, and – in the form of a ‘logframe matrix’ – a discrete planning and monitoring tool for projects and programmes.
In this article you will learn
How to create your logframe
In order to create a project's logframe, first you need to have created your project.
You can create a project's logframe by accessing the Logframe module through the left menu.
A panel will appear on the right side of your screen. Select the type of logframe (Project) and for which project the logframe is being created. You can only create one logframe per project. You can also customize the labels of your logframe levels.
Once saved, you will be redirected to a screen where you will be able to add the different goals, outcomes, outputs and indicators for your project. If you have created a global logframe with corporate items, you will see them appear as soon as you create your project's logframe, as they are pre-populated by the system.
How to create goals and indicators
Start by creating your goal by clicking on the + Goal
button.
You can add lower level results or an indicator below the goal by clicking on the + sign next to the goal. In this example, to create a result below outcome or an outcome indicator you click on the + sign next to the first outcome, etc.
Alternatively, you can generate an excel template to create the logframe .
