LogAlto New and improved features - April 2024
The lack of recent news updates doesn't mean that the team has been idle. On the contrary, behind the scenes, significant efforts have been dedicated to the development of new features and improvements. Let's delve into some of the exciting features that the team has been working on:
New features
Enable or disable sharing forms to mobile devices
When sharing a form, you provide access to the form for other users. You also have the option of allowing or revoking access to the form via the mobile application.
Mobile application: synchronize individual forms
As you may know, after collecting data offline on the mobile application, you can upload all your form records. You now also have the option of doing so for specific forms. Once you've entered the form, simply click on the synchronize button on the top right corner.
More methods to calculate indicator rates
When you are entering the numerator and denominator values of a "rate" type indicator, LogAlto has several methods of aggregating the values. We've added another one: the weighted rate calculation.
It takes into account the relative scale or importance of different groups within the data, as represented by their denominators, to calculate a more accurate and representative rate for each category. For an example of this, see this article.
More:
- Ability to use formula fields as
- New functions for the formula fields: IFS(); BETWEEN(); DATEDIFF()

- Update to the mobile application's framework. This improved GPS capturing and overall performance.
